St. Croix has beautiful and stable weather year-round, with temperatures averaging around 82 degrees F. Occasional rainstorms predominately happen at night and don’t interfere with beach days.
Beaches
The islands most popular beach, Dorscht, has beautiful clear waters and is a great place to run into other LGBT travelers. Buck Island, which was declared a national monument, has an underwater snorkeling trail and pristine white sand beaches. Sandy Point is largely home to nesting turtles and birds and a quiet, pretty stretch of beach, and Isaac Bay is secluded and great for swimming.
